A River Avon touring trip suitable for all.

This if from Barford, meeting 9 o clock at the old bridge, Bridge street CV35 8EH (nearest postcode)

Finishing in Stratford, hopefully parking in the Marina car park CV37 6YY (nearest postcode)

The trip is 10 miles long with 2 weirs.
Club boats are available if needed, but need prior notice .

Halloween Paddle 2017

Nuneaton in the dark, the pirates await, and that’s just the locals :-).

We’ll be running a night paddle on the evening of Tuesday 31st October down the Ashby-de-la-Zouch canal just off the A5. Getting on and off at The Marina pub/restaurant in Hinckley.

All competent to paddle on flat water are welcome, and we’ll be looking to finish off in a pub.

Fancy dress for you and your boat with a Halloween theme, but pirates also welcome :-). Boat decoration with lights (or pumpkins :D).

There will be a fee of £2 to cover additional safety consumables.

This event is being organised over Facebook – if you don’t use Facebook, please email trips@hinckleycanoeclub.co.uk who will pass your request on to the organiser.

Nene Evening – Nov

Off to the Nene White Water Centre for both a social paddle and coaching, ideal for those who have done their Introduction and need introducing to Nene.

Numbers are limited for those requiring coaching/leading – and will be on a first come first served basis and subject to agreement by the coach.

IMPORTANT: You’ll need to sign yourself in.

NOTE: Nene has strict rules and therefore this is more a providing pointers session than full structured coaching.

The event is limited to people who have already paddled white water either on an introduction or part of a trip – if you’re not sure, please ask.
