Chairman’s Report

Lake sessions are doing extremely well and are well attended.

Admin

Risk assessment documents need updating.

Finance

Bank holds to date £3,072.92 plus £100

Equipment

Insurance quote of approx £255 has been given. New padlocks are now on all containers. Looking into obtaining a small generator for lighting in the containers. A Budget of £500 has been agreed to purchase –

5 x Kids paddles

2 x sets Canoe buoyancy

Airbags for kayaks

Also discussed and agreed the need to push the need for respect for all kit whether the clubs or personal.

Events

May 20th 2017 – Pingles open day – a chance to showcase canoe polo and HCC. Looking for helpers. Intro to sea kayaking weekend booked.

Paid up members now stands at 92

SUP discipline support module fully booked as are all star courses.

Polo

Beginners sessions to be promoted and taster sessions on the lake to start later in June/July. Goal storage has been cleared at the Pingles. Sponsorship Deal has been further discussed. Polo Sub-committee to be developed reporting to main committee at each meeting.
