Us ship mates started arriving at the Marina carpark at Hinckley just after 6pm on Halloween night, after the pirate ships were decked with bunting, fairy lights and ghoulish effects and the rest of the flotilla decorated with pumpkins, spiders, skeletons and glow sticks Captain Martin gave us a quick brief and we set sail. Captain Skeleton Smith led us down the very dark cut with Captain Nikki Currybean at the rear.
One of the brave shipmates had to abandon ship and was given a boat tow and a lift with Captain Martin. After an hour and a lot of sharing of booty we then paddled back to the pub where there was an awaiting, deserved drink. Thank you for a great night !
