DESCRIPTION:Tame Otter Loop \nA 10km paddle starting off and finishing near The Tame Otter pub. We paddle the Birmingham and Fazely canal for 3km and then portage on to the River Tame which takes us through Tamworth and back to Hopwas. More details to follow closer to the date. DESCRIPTION:This is a flatwater trip open to fully paid up H.C.C. members only. You must have your own kit.\nAn 8 mile loop around Port Meadow near Oxford.\nThe trip starts from the Wolvercote bathing place on the Thames\, paddling downstream to join the Oxford canal. On the canal we portage 3 locks\, the last being the start of Duke’ Cut which takes us to Wolvercote Mill stream and back onto the Thames. There are two further river locks which we may be able to pass through subject to permission from the lock keeper.\nThe trip is suitable for Open boats\, Kayaks and SUP’s.\nMeeting point:\nWolvercote bathing place\nPort Meadow Godstow Car Park\nGodstow Road\nWolvercote\nOX2 8PU\nWhat three words: ///areas.jams.beard\n**IMPORTANT** There is a height restriction in place at the entrance to the car park.\nIf the demand is high we will attempt to run two groups of 1 leader to 5 paddlers. DESCRIPTION:This is a Flatwater trip open to fully paid up H.C.C. members only. You must have your own kit.\nThis circular Flatwater trip is HCCs local paddle that starts and finishes at Jubilee park\, Enderby.\nDistance: Approx 5.5 miles.\nWe use the River Soar to travel up to where it meets the Grand Union Canal\, we then paddle on the Grand Union Canal until we exit it to join the River Sence and follow it back to where it joins the River Soar\, back at Jubilee Park.\nDuring the time on the Canal there are 3 locks that will require portage.\nThe River Sence is very overgrown in places\, so the plan is to combine this trip with doing a little saw/tree work to open up the river for future club trips.\n*IMPORTANT* Jubilee Car Park has a 2.0m Height Restriction at the entrance to the car park. Please be careful.\n**This trip is open to Kayak craft only at this time due to the overgrown conditions on the River Sence.\nMeeting Point: Jubilee Park.
