Equipment

Canoe and two kayaks, plus kit, has been donated by former member Gordon Chadwin. Plan to keep boats but pass kit on to members who would find it useful. Letter of thanking Gordon to be sent. Full list as appendix to minutes

Arranging with Paul Hunter for digger for cabling. Planning move of fourth container to the lake, at discussion with Mick and Helen.

Mega SUP bought for £750

Coming up       Tame Otter circuit on 27th November

Sea kayaking in June 2022 now full

Fortnightly canal paddles planned on Thursday evenings

 

Coaching / Development

Moderate WW Weekend in Lake District with Dave Beecroft went well

Two scout group enquiries:  from Gareth Lewis and John Dow who would like sessions for their packs – Discover course proposed. These may need to be run on evenings other than Thursdays

Offer membership to Ben Olesen (works with Dave Beecroft) if he is willing to support the club’s WW paddling

Look at easy grading system (colour coding) to identify trip suitability
